Arboriculture at Moreton Morrell College

Arboriculture, or tree management, has grown in popularity over the past few years and is now offered at both Moreton Morrell College and Pershore College. It is an ever-growing industry encompassing work for home owners, large land owners, charities and nationwide organisations. Courses will introduce students to all of the main areas of work involved in tree management, forestry and tree surgery. Subjects covered include understanding of the identification and selection of trees and shrubs, maintaining tools and machinery, felling and processing trees and plant and soil science. Many students who enrol on one of these courses go on to set up their own businesses, based on the training that they have received.
