The Kirkley Hall estate with over 190 acres of land, rivers, trees, gardens, woodland, grassland, hedgerows and habitats is the ideal place for you to gain the hands-on skills you need to get that dream job.

Our Arboriculture courses prepare you for exciting career opportunities at home and abroad.

Arboriculture students gain experience in chainsaw maintenance and use and rope inspection in the new purpose built arboriculture workshops. The large on-site varied woodland as well as use of partner woodland estates provide a great environment for students to train in aerial tree work.

Arboriculture students enter a number of climbing competitions and have competed at national events around the UK.

Workplace preparation is a vital part of our courses with opportunities for work experience and work-related activities.

Courses have clear progression routes from Level 2 through to BA (Hons) Degree.
