Wildlife & Conservation at Merrist Wood
Merrist Wood has a 400 acre outdoor classroom perfect for studying wildlife and conservation… including woodlands, wetlands and grasslands.
Our students learn a wide range of wildlife and conservation skills on the estate and are instructed in the use of machinery by passionate, specialist staff. There are also opportunities to get involved in the annual lambing and also greenwood crafts including charcoal burning and coppicing. There really is no better place to study than at Merrist Wood.
