Luke Harmer

Luke joined the National Land Based College (UK) as Digital Manager in January 2017. He previously managed the administration of agri-environment schemes, including Energy Crops and Farm Woodland with Defra / Natural England between 2004 and 2007. He then worked in digital marketing at The BSS Group plc in 2008 before implementing their first Learning Management System in 2010 and establishing e-learning for compliance, products and systems training. Following company acquisition by Travis Perkins, he managed the consolidation of their two learning platforms and roll-out of systems training for their Plumbing and Heating Division. He was promoted to Training Manager in 2015, with additional responsibility for the design and delivery of face-to-face and blended learning programmes. Most recently, he provided learning and development consultancy to public sector clients, including the Ministry of Justice and Metropolitan Police, whilst working at Shared Services Connected Ltd.
