Forestry & Arboriculture at Pershore College

Arboriculture, or tree management, has grown in popularity over the past few years and is now offered as an Apprenticeship at Pershore College. It is an ever-growing industry encompassing work for home owners, large land owners, charities and nationwide organisations. Courses will introduce students to all of the main areas of work involved in tree management, forestry and tree surgery. Subjects covered include understanding of the identification and selection of trees and shrubs, maintaining tools and machinery, felling and processing trees and plant and soil science.
