Equine at Suffolk New College

The Equine Studies Programmes at Suffolk New College provide comprehensive support for students seeking to develop their knowledge and understanding of equine study. Our Rural Campus facilities cater to both vocational and academic learning. Our lecturers, who are industry experts, cover a wide range of specialized topics related to equine care, from business studies to sports coaching. The UK’s vibrant equine industry offers various career paths, including competition grooms, saddlers, coaches, and nutritionists. Our courses start at Level 1, allowing students to consolidate their knowledge, and Level 3 students delve into in-depth subjects such as health, rehabilitation, feeding, behaviour, and welfare. Students have access to indoor and outdoor riding arenas, and our purpose-built equine yard features 23 stables, wash bays, solariums, and industry-standard feeding and watering systems.
