If you are unable to secure employment, you could enrol on a full-time study programme and transfer to an Apprenticeship at a later date. Please apply for a full-time course as your second option.

This courseis for anyone interested in doing an apprenticeship to become a livestock unit technician on farm. You will focus on all aspects of livestock husbandry. This will cover;

Animal health and welfare
Legislation
Learning about key performance indicators and how these can help to set achievable targets for the farm you are working on.
The course allowsyou to gain practical knowledge at work whilst coming to College for one day a week to embed this with other knowledge and skills.
