BSc (Hons) Wildlife and Conservation at Easton College
Our BSc (Hons) Wildlife and Conservation degree includes a range of science and practical modules to help develop the skills needed for careers in Ecological Consultancy and Wildlife Conservation.
Students will develop an understanding of both native and global animal and plant species, whilst also being able to develop their individual interests further through project-based research.
Modules in the first year provide a grounding in topics such as biology and botany, along with British wildlife and its identification. In the second and third year of the course, students undertake modules in areas such as ecology, habitat management, and conservation biology, whilst also developing their research skills which will culminate in the completion of a dissertation in their final year.
Students have access to our Designated County Wildlife site at Easton, which allows them to develop practical species identification and field research skills and apply the academic knowledge they are gaining through the course.
