BTEC Extended Diploma in Horticulture (1080)

This two year course is equivalent to 3 A Levels and is an ideal qualification for school leavers and mature students to learn horticulture at a higher level. It enables those who already have some experience to develop expertise in a wide range of subjects relevant to the industry. Using our fantastic campus facilities, including modern glasshouses, you will gain a broad understanding in a range of horticultural subjects relating to your responsibilities as a professional and including plant identification, the use of trees and ecological planting, the pruning of trees and shrubs and the propagation of edibles, annuals and houseplants, resource planning and plant management, hard and soft landscaping , garden design and surveying.
