Countryside Conservation & Environmental Management – Level 2

Do you want to work in the Great British countryside….or beyond?

Do you like working outdoors in all weathers and in lots of different habitats? If so, then this course is for you!

The range of job opportunities and employment prospects within the countryside sector is far greater than many people realise.

Studying at the Rodbaston College gives you access to a diverse and vibrant rural estate with a multitude of habitats including woodland, wetland, grassland, ponds, lakes, canal, formal gardens and farmed areas. We are also local to many country parks and areas of outstanding natural beauty such as Cannock Chase, which add an extra dimension to trips and practical sessions.

Practical skills are developed on our estate and help to consolidate the theory that is needed to work and progress in this industry, all backed up and taught by staff who have a wide breadth of experience and knowledge gained in this dynamic and interesting sector.

Taught sessions may start inside the classroom but often break out into the great outdoors and with dedicated practical sessions, skills are developed at a rapid pace to engage and enthuse.

Our links to local and national experts always makes guest lecture time informative and fun, and networking with prospective employers is always a good career move!
