Employability and Personal Development Level 2

A one year course designed for learners who are not ready to move to a full Level 2 programme and bigger group sizes. The course focuses on developing study skills, progressing vocational experience and skills, progressing both English and Maths. Pathways provide access to vocational studies and projects and student will get the chance to take Level 2 units to inform ideas around further study.

Pathways include: Animal and Horticulture.

Level 1 learners who aren’t ready to move to a full Level 2 programme of study and need time to consolidate and develop study skills before doing so.

The course is unique to Merrist Wood College as it combines both personal development and vocational projects to give students the best possible chance to progress to higher levels of study having built confidence in a more supported environment first.
