FdSc Equine Management

If you’re thinking about studying Equine Management at a higher level, then Merrist Wood, regarded as one of the top equestrian centres in the south east, is the place to be. This programme brings together horsemastership, business and management elements. It offers the opportunity to study practical aspects of equine studies whilst also maintaining a focus on the development of managerial concepts relating to the maintenance of an equine establishment. Work placements will be completed alongside academic modules to ensure the development of both industry and academic skills.

You must have an interest in pursuing a career in equine management. The programme is ideal if you have previous animal experience or if you have achieved a Level 3 related animal course, however this is not compulsory.

One of the largest indoor equine arenas in the south of the country, stabling for over 40 horses, one outdoor school and a BHS approved centre
