Floristry at Suffolk New College

The Floristry courses, based in Suffolk Rural, offer part-time and leisure learning options for students interested in entering the floristry business. These practical-based courses cover a variety of arrangements and events. Throughout the program, students engage in a wide range of floristry skills, creating at least one design per week. At Level 2, students develop solid techniques, mastering the mechanics required for different design styles. Progressing to Level 3 provides the opportunity to craft unique and striking designs for specific scenarios. Clear demonstrations, guest speakers, external visits, and art activities enhance the learning experience. Notably, one of our learners, Emily Robbins, received the LANTRA Floristry Learner of the Year award in 2023
