Forestry & Countryside Management at Llysfasi

This course provides a sound base to progress into a relevant level 3 qualification or employment within the forestry and arboriculture industry. There are 6 units completed over 1 year which include:

? Undertake Work Related Experience within the Land-based Industry
? Environmental and Land-based Business
? Development of Forestry Practical Skills
? Working with Plants and trees
? Use of associated Tools and Carrying out Estate Maintenance
? Conservation and Associated Skills

These are taught mainly through practical hands on sessions, classroom activities, visits and guest speakers. Sessions will be undertaken throughout the year on the 1000 acre farm and forestry estate, where you will gain valuable work related experience.
