Course Overview
This course will teach you how to care for horses up to competition level and give you the opportunity to work at our commercial riding school. The course gives a broad-based and in-depth study of the industry and its various disciplines. We aim to provide the best possible vocational experience for you as well as developing your learning and understanding of equine academia. All full-time students participate in yard duties throughout the year alongside their main programme of study. A rota is put in place and will include some weekends.

You will also have the opportunity to organise and run an equine event, as well as to visit Your Horse Live, Badminton Horse Trials and the Horse of the Year Show. Students also attend residential study tours, which include visits to The National Stud, British Racing School, Rossdales Equine Veterinary Hospital, Tattersalls and a study tour to Cirencester.

Qualification: City & Guilds Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma / Extended Diploma in Equine Management//Opportunity to gain BHS qualifications, First Aid at Work
