L3 Subsidiary Diploma in Blacksmithing and Metalworking

The course is the natural progression from level 2. There is delivery of more advanced forging techniques, in addition to welding processes, sheet metal, and fine metalwork. There are a number of drawing & design units, and business studies as part of the curriculum. You will be expected to study independently, conducting research and keep a technical journal throughout the course. The course is designed to help you develop your skills to allow you have the broadest choice of progression when you graduate.
