Level 1 CG Diploma Practical Horticulture Skills – Liverpool / Preston

Myerscough College can offer you the opportunity to train at the best land-based College in the North West, with excellent facilities for Horticulture. At the Preston centre we have new glasshouse space offering four separate growing zones with LED lighting and computerised temperature control. You will work in the Award Winning Myerscough Gardens, helping to look after beds and borders, learning maintenance techniques and growing your own vegetables. At the Croxteth Park centre in Liverpool students have the opportunity to work in the prestigious Victorian Walled Garden and glasshouses, where the plant species are diverse and includes the Liverpool Botanical Collection. Our work experience opportunities will enable you to further your horticultural skills in a setting that will enhance your knowledge and improve your communication, team-building, customer care skills and confidence.
