Level 1 Introductory Diploma in Vocational Studies (Land-based)

This course provides an introduction to working with plants and animals. It is ideal for school leavers who are seeking to explore some areas of horticulture and animal care. Students will work with a range of animals, plants and tools within our 162-hectare site.

There will be opportunities to grow food as well as handle and care for animals. There will be project work involved such as putting on an event, as well as life skills such as preparing and cooking food.

The course also provides an opportunity for students to develop personal, social and employability skills in a highly supportive environment.
