Level 3 Foundation Diploma Equine Management (Equitation)

This course gives you the opportunity to gain detailed academic knowledge and an in-depth understanding of horse management and equitation through theory-based and practical sessions. 

 You’ll be involved in the daily care of the horses through yard duties, including weekends which will develop the practical skills necessary to gain employment within the equine industry. You’re also required to complete a period of work experience at an external placement during the course. You’ll also have the opportunity to assist in the running of our commercial equine competitions. It’s therefore compulsory students to live in Hartpury accommodation for the duration of the course. Successful completion of this programme will allow you to progress onto Higher Education.
