Practical Landscaping L2 Diploma in Practical Horticulture Skills
This City & Guilds qualification will provide you with practical experience and knowledge about the Landscaping/Horticulture industry. It will provide you with an understanding of a range of practices and a set of skills required to succeed in the landscaping industry. It will help give you guidance towards a range of interesting jobs in the industry.
This course allows you to experience various aspects of Landscaping, such as site surveying, installing patios and hard surfaces, garden fencing, building walls, establishing lawns, setting out/planting trees, and using machinery.
You will enjoy a range of practical work on the extensive campus including the opportunity to work in teams and individually. As part of the course, you will meet with industry professionals via guest speakers and attendance at live industry events. In the past, some students have had the opportunity to work at The Chelsea Flower Show and Hampton Court Flower Festival as part of their learning experience.
Age requirement: Applicants must be at least 19 years old.
