Writtle University College is one of the oldest and largest providers of horticultural education in the UK. We offer a number of gardening and landscaping courses that are designed to equip students with all of the practical skills and knowledge required for a future career in the horticultural industry.
Writtle University College has a wealth of outdoor and indoor resources which are used extensively in the teaching of horticulture and landscaping, including landscaped gardens, large tropical and temperate glasshouses and a large amenity building which enables experimental designs to be constructed indoors.
We attract a wide range of people onto our horticulture courses including school leavers and mature learners looking to study part-time.
