Fishing for Schools
Fishing 4 Schools started in 2008 and offers young people the opportunity to discover the joy of fishing, whilst learning new skills in a fun and proactive way.
The charity helps pupils re-engage with education, building their confidence and self-esteem, while at the same time assisting with new qualifications and skills. It offers a short-course for children age 10-16 years old, often with special educational needs. Fishing for Schools runs courses for pupils who often find academic work particularly difficult but respond well to alternative learning.
