Germinate Enterprise
‘Germinate Enterprise’ is a rural business start-up programme that aims to increase rural employment. The six session programme helps participants think through what sort of business, social enterprise or farm diversification project to set up and investigate whether this idea is viable.
The course is enjoyable and informative and builds up a simple business plan from a series of exercises. Working with other people on the same journey provides support and encouragement. The programme has been developed by experienced entrepreneurs at the Germinate: The Arthur Rank Centre.
The Germinate Enterprise programme is designed to be delivered by community groups. The workbook, templates, facilitator material and a follow up ‘Beer Mat Mentoring’ resource are all available free of charge at www.germinate.net/enterprise.
