Countryside Classroom

Countryside Classroom is the largest ever partnership of organisations committed to helping children learn about food, farming and the natural environment. The online portal makes it easier for teachers across the UK to access resources, places to visit and people to ask. As more schools embrace food, farming and the natural environment as essential components of a broad and balanced curriculum every child will have the opportunity to learn about and experience these topics in diverse ways that are increasingly supported by experiences outside the classroom.

NLBC is proud to be a member of the Countryside Classroom Consortium. We are committed to sharing our knowledge, experience and passion for farming and the natural environment with teachers and supporting them to educate their pupils through teaching resources, personal experiences and access to experts in their field.
