NLBC operates as a virtual college. We do not intend to have our own campus, instead we link strongly to our 30 member colleges and universities who deliver qualifications and training.

We are not currently advertising for any posts.

Any future opportunities will be advertised on our website and by social media. We often have vacancies within our Writing Groups, please contact us for more information.

NLBC have signed a 7-year Joint Services Agreement with our awarding body partner City & Guilds, to work together on the development of land based qualifications. City & Guilds have seed funded NLBC from the National Proficiency Tests Council (NPTC) fund and NLBC will also receive a percentage of income derived from the delivery of C&G land based qualifications. With the strong land based history of C&G through NPTC and the excellent C&G delivery models in other vocations, NLBC is excited to be working with our partner in the development of qualifications for the future.

As a not-for-profit registered Charity, the National Land Based College requires on-going financial support to enable us to achieve our charitable objectives and deliver our mission. We would be keen to hear from organisations who would like to help us achieve our aims and support the development of skills for land based industries. Please contact us.

Landex is the membership organisation for specialist land based colleges and universities in the UK. NLBC is employer led and is working far more closely with industry on the development of qualifications, training and skills. NLBC is supported by Landex (who provided some of our seed funding) and 30 of the Landex members are also NLBC members/guarantors.

NLBC have clear membership guidelines for any colleges/universities that would like to join as an NLBC Member. Please contact us for more information.
